this Sunday, as a prelude to the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch myself, the self-proclaimed 'local nerd' and his little brother will be trudging around their local patch hoping to buck the trend and get over 46 species in a day. this foot-murdering experience is a way of keeping track of the local birds. it all started last may, we did a sponsored bird race and raised £171 for the RSPB with our total of 46. hopefully we can beat that this time! wish us luck - and hope my feet survive!!!!
